Amazon Prime Video ties up with kids content creator ChuChu TV

Amazon Prime Video has entered into a partnership with kids content creator ChuChu TV. Previously, ChuChu TV was available only on YouTube.

 

Vinoth Chandar, Founder, CEO & Creative Director, ChuChu TV said: “We have always believed content is king and Amazon Prime Video s discerning choice of partners and content echoes our vision. The Amazon Prime Video app also has a special Preschool Kids Videos category, which is a perfect place for our content to reach audiences. This is a long-term India exclusive deal. In India, ChuChu TV content will be available on two premium platforms, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube.”

 

ChuChu TV is one of the largest YouTube Kids content creators with over 10 million subscribers and over 10 billion total views across their channels in YouTube. The top markets are the US, India, the UK, the Philippines and Vietnam.

 

With this initiative ChuChu TV will embark on the next digital growth wave. Given its popularity, ChuChu TV is also working on launching licensed merchandise for which it has tied up with India s premier licensing representation company Dream Theatre and is working with them for making the brand licence ready.
